Job Purpose

The Revenue Assurance Lead is responsible for ensuring the company realizes the full revenue and margin it is entitled to across cloud resale, software licenses, managed services, professional services and vendor incentive programs. The role owns the end-to-end revenue assurance lifecycle, strengthening billing accuracy, preventing revenue leakages, and driving scalable, automated controls. Working closely with Sales, Operations, IT, and Finance, the Revenue Assurance Lead provides governance, insight, and oversight to protect margins, improve cash flow, and support sustainable business growth.

Job Description

Leadership 
• Lead by example, setting high standards and driving accountability across teams to safeguard revenue integrity and financial performance.  
• Develop and execute the Revenue Assurance strategy to identify, prevent, and mitigate revenue leakage across products, services, and delivery models. 
• Contribute to Bespin Global's medium and long-term strategy by embedding revenue assurance principles that support sustainable growth and profitability. 
• Maintain a strong understanding of the broader business and commercial environment, providing expert analysis and strategic advice on revenue risks, margin protection, and operational effectiveness.  
• Perform high-level analysis of revenue, billing, and performance 

Revenue Assurance & End-to-End Ownership 
• Own end-to-end revenue assurance across contract, usage, billing, collection, and vendor claims. 
• Identify, prevent, and recover revenue and margin leakages across all revenue streams.  
• Ensure revenue recognition aligns with contractual terms and commercial models. 
• Monitor revenue flows to proactively identify risks, gaps and anomalies. 
• Drive accountability for revenue accuracy across internal stakeholders. 

Billing Accuracy & Usage Reconciliation 
• Reconcile hyperscaler usage data with customer billing and invoicing. 
• Validate pricing, discounts, minimum commitments, and consumption models. 
• Ensure accurate and timely billing of managed services and professional services. 
• Investigate billing discrepancies and drive root-cause resolution. 
• Reduce billing errors, manual adjustments, and credit notes through process improvement.  

Vendor Rebates, Incentives & Margin Management 
• Track, claim, and reconcile vendor rebates, incentives, and backend margins. 
• Ensure full realization of all eligible vendor programs and benefits. 
• Maintain governance over vendor incentive structures and claim timelines. 
• Partner with Finance and Vendor Management to improve rebate forecasting and accruals. 
• Identify opportunities to improve margins through better utilization of vendor programs.  

Automation, Controls & Reporting 
• Build automated reconciliations, exception reports, and dashboards. 
• Define and implement revenue assurance controls across systems and processes. 
• Reduce reliance on manual spreadsheets through scalable, system-driven solutions. 
• Monitor key revenue assurance KPIs and trends. 
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across ERP, CRM, and billing platforms.  

Additional Responsibilities

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Governance
• Partner with Sales, Operations, IT, and Finance to strengthen revenue integrity. 
• Act as the revenue assurance subject matter expert across the organization. 
• Challenge existing processes and drive improvements to revenue-related workflows. 
• Support Sales with commercial insights related to pricing, margin and revenue risk. 
• Provide regular reporting and insights to senior leadership.  

Compliance 
• Comply with any filing requirements imposed by local governing authorities. 
• Comply with all tax reporting and payment requirements. 
• Comply with the group guidelines.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks by implementing effective internal controls and risk management strategies.
• Comply with the company’s Information Security Management System (ISMS) and ISO 27001 requirements, and actively participate in regular training and audits to ensure continuous alignment with the standard.

Job Specification

Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field 

Professional Certifications 
• CA/ CPA/ MBA or equivalent commercial qualification (Preferred) 

Skills 
• 5-10 years of experience in cloud, MSP, SaaS, or IT services environments
• Strong understanding of cloud billing and usage-based pricing, minimum commitments and consumption models, and vendor programs, rebates, and incentives. 
• Strong analytical capability with tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, and Tableau. 
• Tech-savvy with experience across ERP, CRM, billing, and reporting platforms. 
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally and challenge the status quo. 
• Engineering background with strong finance or commercial exposure (preferrable) 
• Experience building or maturing revenue assurance frameworks and automation.
