Job Purpose

The Senior Project Manager is responsible to oversight and manage complex projects or multiple projects within an organization. The Senior Project Manager is also responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects, driving stakeholder satisfaction, and achieving project objectives while effectively collaborating with stakeholders at all levels.

Job Description

Additional Responsibilities

Project Management

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, deliverables, and success criteria.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource requirements.
  • Conduct project feasibility assessments, identify risks, and establish risk mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, and take corrective actions as necessary.
  • Manage project risks, issues, and changes, implementing appropriate strategies to minimize their impact.
  • Conduct project reviews, lessons learned sessions, and post-implementation evaluations.
  • Document and communicate project outcomes, capturing best practices and areas for improvement for future projects.
  • Implement appropriate quality control measures and corrective actions to address deviations or non-conformances.
  • Experience in managing project budgets, allocating resources efficiently, and optimizing project costs.
  • A passion for staying up to date with industry trends and advocating for the adoption of innovative project management methodologies and practices within the organization.

Additional Responsibilities

Stakeholder Management

  • Coordinate with internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of multiple projects/programs
  • Establish effective communication channels and maintain regular communication with project stakeholders.
  • Conduct stakeholder meetings, providing project updates, addressing concerns, and managing expectations.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring their engagement and involvement throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well other internal stakeholders, to monitor and track progress.
  • Skilled at foreseeing and handling projects that grow into bigger programs and portfolios, using careful planning and strategic abilities.
  • Capable of mentoring, driving and inspiring team members to achieve project objectives.
  • Collaborate with various internal departments and teams to foster a cohesive and integrated approach to project delivery.

Resource and Budget Management

  • Coordinate and allocate project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenditures, and implementing cost control measures.
  • Collaborate with functional managers to secure and optimize resource availability for project activities.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.

Job Specification

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or any related field
  • Master’s degree in any related is preferred

Professional Certifications

  • Certified Project Management Professional
  • Cloud Certifications (Preferred)
  • ITIL or equivalent certifications (Preferred).

Knowledge

  • SharePoint, Teams, Exchange, OneDrive, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, OneNote
  • Planning tools, Trello, MS Project, Jira, Agile, Digital, Transformation
  • Strong knowledge and experience across multiple technology platforms, including on premise and private cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, G42 etc.)
